Terms of Use

Homeschool Fair is a directory of homeschool providers in Florida and an organiser of homeschool fairs. We help families find providers, and we give providers a way to be found.

Browsing is free for families and always will be. We make money from providers — listing tiers, fair booths and sponsored placements — never from families.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

• We are not a school, a tutor, a therapist or an educational service.
• We do not employ, supervise or endorse the providers listed here.
• We do not verify credentials, insurance, background checks or qualifications.
• We do not confirm scholarship approval — see the box above.
• We do not give legal, educational or financial advice.

Choosing a provider for your child is your decision. Do the checks you would do for anyone you let teach your kids.

Some listings were created from publicly available information before the provider claimed them. Every listing shows where its information came from.

If a listing is about you or your business, you may:

• claim it and edit it yourself,
• ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or
• ask us to remove it — removal takes effect immediately.

If you claim or create a listing, you are responsible for it being accurate and for keeping it current. Do not claim a business you do not own or represent.

There are no star ratings on this site. Small co-ops and one-person tutors should not be ranked by whoever shouted loudest. Families may leave a note when a provider worked out for them, and that is the only social signal here.

Notes must be your own honest experience. We remove anything abusive, defamatory, or written by someone with an undisclosed interest in the provider.

Be useful and be kind. Do not:

• post anything abusive, harassing or discriminatory,
• share another family’s or child’s private information,
• advertise or spam — providers have listings for that,
• post anything unlawful or infringing.

We may remove content or accounts that break these rules. You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to display it on the site.

Subscriptions

Listing tiers renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund partial periods.

Fair booths

A booth is a one-time purchase for a specific fair. Your booth appears once payment completes. If we cancel a fair, you get a full refund. If you cannot attend, contact us before the fair and we will do what is reasonable.

Sponsored placements

Sponsored slots are labelled as such wherever they appear. Paying for a slot does not change how listings are ranked in ordinary search results, and it does not imply endorsement.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. We may change prices for future periods with notice.

Family registration is free. Fairs may be online or in person; the details for each are on its own page.

We may change or cancel a fair. If we do, we will tell registered attendees and booth-holders, and refund booths in full. We are not responsible for travel or other costs you incur.

Keep your sign-in link and password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can close yours at any time by emailing us.

The site is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or that listing information is accurate — much of it comes from providers themselves.

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from any dealings with a provider you found here. Our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the past twelve months, which for families is nothing.

Your relationship with a provider is between you and them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Florida.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
