SarasotaIn person
A small, close-knit non-profit serving Florida homeschool families — a private school, academy classes, and a support group.
About
The Bridge Sarasota/Suncoast is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to serve homeschool families in Florida. It runs a tri-fold ministry of three separate, optional programs: a Florida non-traditional private school (umbrella school) whose students receive grade completion certificates, transcripts and diplomas; weekly co-op Academy Classes; and a support group. Academy Classes run Thursdays, September through May, at Bible Baptist Church in Bradenton, and range from an elementary program for K-5th grade to middle and high school core academic enrichment (science, language) plus electives such as performing arts and languages. The Bridge is a direct provider on the EMA portal for PEP and FES-UA scholarship funds for its Academy Classes (families receiving PEP funding cannot enroll in the private school). Directors have over 50 years of combined homeschool experience, and counseling is offered to all families. This listing was compiled from public information and has not yet been claimed by its owner.
