Providence Extension Program Florida

JacksonvilleIn person

Two-day classical Christian tutorial for 7th-12th graders, combining home education with tutor-led classroom instruction.

About

Providence Extension Program (PEP) combines the best aspects of home education and classical Christian school for 7th through 12th grades. Each school year PEP gathers privately contracted tutors proficient in the subjects they teach to meet with students once or twice a week for classroom instruction and discussion, while students complete the academically challenging, biblically grounded coursework at home. PEP is committed to training students in logical thinking and biblical reasoning and is deliberately a two-day, not five-day, program, so the home remains the primary place of discipleship. PEP's objective is to come alongside actively involved parents with a Christ-centered, financially appealing, college preparatory alternative. In the Jacksonville area PEP runs Mandarin, West Jacksonville and East St. Johns campuses; the Mandarin campus meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at Christian Family Chapel.
