Parents ETC (PETC) serves homeschooling families in Port St Lucie, Fort Pierce, Stuart, Palm City and Jensen Beach. It is a support group, not an umbrella or private school -- each family remains independently responsible for their children's education, curriculum choice and record keeping. The group provides a platform to exchange ideas, resources and personal experiences, sometimes with group rates or discounts, and member volunteers run social, academic and sporting events plus fall co-ops. PETC was established with Christian values and its Board must sign a Statement of Faith, but membership is open to any homeschooling family regardless of religious affiliation and no member is pressured to change their beliefs.
