Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium runs two homeschool tracks at Mote SEA in Sarasota. Onsite Homeschool Days are monthly hands-on afternoon classes from 1:30 to 3:30pm for ages 6-14, each built around a marine science research topic such as red tide, cephalopods, cold adaptations in ocean animals and marine camouflage. The Homeschool Advanced Program (HSAP) is an application-based course in two age groups, 9-11 and 12-16.
