MindRise Learning is a reading clinic devoted to working with struggling readers, including students with and without diagnosed learning disabilities and especially those with dyslexia. They specialize in intensive reading intervention using structured literacy via the Wilson Reading System to address gaps in reading, writing and spelling that traditional instruction may not reach. Services also include grammar and writing with IEW, reading comprehension support, handwriting instruction using Learning Without Tears, homeschool language arts support and math intervention, plus screening and intake assessments. Individual sessions run about 55-60 minutes one-on-one with a trained tutor; semi-private groups of two to three are offered when the director deems it a fit. In-person and online tutoring are both available. Founder and executive director Amanda H. Davis, M.Ed. has over two decades of experience as a teacher, school counselor and reading interventionist.
