Manatee Lagoon, FPL's eco-discovery centre on the Lake Worth Lagoon in West Palm Beach, runs 90-minute homeschool group programmes rotating through its exhibit gallery, classroom and observation deck, led by educators called Manatee Masters. Two versions are offered - Manatee Lagoon Observers for K-5 and Exploring Manatee Lagoon for mixed-age K-12 groups - both aligned to Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, with free admission and parking.
