Kaiwa is an art, sewing and invention studio for children in DeBary, opened in 2022 and originally founded by Keara Trimmer in Santa Cruz, California in 2015. Trimmer holds a Masters in Art Education from the University of Georgia and a Pre-K-12 teaching certificate, with 14 years teaching across community and school settings including the Greensboro Children's Museum and two years as an Art and STEAM teacher in Sanford, Florida.
