Idea Bar was formed by its sister company TLC in response to requests from the homeschool community for more support. The team states its belief in encouraging learners to find their niche by weaving core curriculum goals into a child's innate curiosity, with student-centred curriculum and a deliberately limited role for technology in the classroom. Services include 1-day and 2-day programs covering English and History with IB, Math and Science with IB, Idea Bar Full STEAM Ahead and a new Spanish 1 course, for elementary, middle and high school students. Other services include portfolio review and academic consultations, and after-school programs including SAT/ACT prep, an Algebra and Geometry Workshop and the Junior Environmentalist Club.
